When Maegan was in eighth grade they had dances during school. The girls would want to look beautiful for them, so my niece Amy and her friends would come early in the morning and spend forever doing their hair and making sure they looked great. These girls were such great examples to my girls, that I loved to have them around. Maegan and Kimmy thought they were the best and wanted to be just like them. Well they were the best so I was OK with that. (Thanks Amy, Lis and Leggs)
Now my girls are grown and they want to be that example to other girls. Kimmy had an idea to have the Garrett girls over for a night of beauty. We went and bought all kinds of make-up, polish and hair care products and invited the girls over for a fun make over. Maegan and Kimmy did their hair, painted their nails, taught Melissa how to put on make-up and helped them all to make some great jewelry. We had pizza and snacks and even went out for ice cream. It was a fantastic night and I know my girls loved it.
These girls have such beautiful fine hair.
Marandra was right there watching and listening to everything Kimmy told Melissa. She knows it will be her turn soon enough.
Maegan did french tips and cute little flowers on all of the girls nails.

Oh! Those mornings were the best!! And pretty hillarious, too! I miss those days. And that is so awesome that your girls did that, too. It sounds like such a fun night!!
I LOVE that your girls did this. How sweet. Paula told me about it a few days in advance. I think they were all pretty stoked with anticipation.
How fun! That is one of my favorite things to do! I love "dolling" girls up and doing hair and make-up. Its the best!
