Yesterday my grandsons and I went for a hike. When we got out of the car to start our journey each boy wanted to hold one of the dogs leashes. They did great except the dogs wanted to run and they were pulling the boys little arms out of socket. I told them I would take the dogs and they could just hike. Zack started to run and wanted to get wherever as fast as he could.
Brayden was just strolling along, happy as can be just to explore. At first I wanted to tell him to hurry and catch up. Then I started thinking, what's the hurry. Instead I ask Zack to wait for
Brayden, he saw that
Brayden was having a ton of fun with a stick just exploring, and he thought that was a great idea. Then we all just took our time and enjoyed the journey. We played in the water,
climbed on rocks, played pooh sticks. It was a great day, except I forgot my
camera, again. They were so cute and I don't have one picture to keep that memory alive. We will just have to go again and make more
memories. I love those little boys and I think I am the most blessed
Nana in the world to have
had them come into my life! Thanks Cami for sharing them with me!
